Ingredients

Scale

For the Sandwiches:

  • 1 box Ritz crackers (about 60 crackers)

  • 1012 slices turkey or chicken deli meat, cut into small pieces

  • 1012 slices cheddar or provolone cheese, quartered

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or honey mustard (optional, for added moisture)

For the Topping:

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp poppy seeds or sesame seeds

  • 1 tsp dried parsley (optional for color)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Step 2: Assemble the Sandwiches

  1. Lay out half of the Ritz crackers on the baking sheet, flat side up.

  2. Place a small slice of deli meat and a piece of cheese on each cracker.

  3. If using mayo or mustard, spread a little on the top cracker.

  4. Top each sandwich with a second cracker, flat side down, to make a mini sandwich.

Step 3: Make the Buttery Topping

  1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, seeds, and parsley.

  2. Stir well to combine.

Step 4: Brush & Bake

  1. Use a pastry brush or spoon to drizzle the butter mixture over each sandwich.

  2. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.

  3. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Keep It Even – Cut meat and cheese to fit neatly on the crackers.
Don’t Overfill – Too much filling will make them slide apart.
Add Sweetness – Try honey ham and Swiss with a touch of jam for a sweet-savory combo.
Spice It Up – Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter topping for heat.
Make It Ahead – Assemble sandwiches ahead, refrigerate, then bake just before serving.
