For the Steak Tips:
- 1 ½ lbs steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank), cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
For the Cheesy Rigatoni:
- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk (whole or 2%)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Sear the Steak Tips
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the steak tips with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add the steak to the skillet in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter and minced garlic.
- Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce and return the steak tips to the pan, tossing them in the garlic butter.
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
Step 4: Make the Cheesy Rigatoni Sauce
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to make a roux.
- Slowly whisk in milk, stirring continuously until thickened.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan cheese.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Stir until smooth, then toss in the cooked rigatoni.
Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!
- Plate the cheesy rigatoni and top with garlic butter steak tips.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and extra parmesan.
