Ingredients
For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for extra tang)
For the Coating:
- 12 small flour tortillas (or egg roll wrappers for extra crunch)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
For Frying:
- 2 cups vegetable oil
- 1 egg (for sealing, if using tortillas)
For Serving:
- Powdered sugar
- Caramel sauce
- Chocolate sauce
- Strawberry sauce
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Cheesecake Filling
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
Step 2: Assemble the Cheesecake Bites
- Lay out tortillas or egg roll wrappers.
- Place 1 tablespoon of cheesecake filling in the center of each.
- Fold in the sides, then roll tightly. Use a little beaten egg or water to seal the edges.
Step 3: Fry Until Golden
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry cheesecake bites in batches for 1-2 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Step 4: Coat & Serve
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and roll warm bites in the mixture.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve with caramel, chocolate, or strawberry sauce.

Use Egg Roll Wrappers for Extra Crunch – Fry up even crispier!
Freeze Before Frying – Keeps the filling firm and prevents leaking.
