1 (24 oz) jar marinara or tomato basil pasta sauce
-
2 cups fresh baby spinach (or frozen, thawed and drained)
-
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
-
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
-
Salt & pepper, to taste
-
-
Fresh basil, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13″ baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
Add a thin layer of sauce to the bottom of the baking dish.
Layer in half of the ravioli (straight from the fridge or freezer).
Top with half of the spinach, half the remaining sauce, and half the mozzarella.
Repeat the layers with the rest of the ravioli, spinach, sauce, and cheese.
Sprinkle Parmesan and Italian seasoning over the top.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden on top.
Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Top with fresh basil if you’re feeling fancy. Serve with garlic bread or a simple green salad.
