- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup pastel M&M’s or candy-coated chocolate eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt (optional, enhances flavor)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Batter
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix cake mix, melted butter, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt (if using) until smooth.
- Fold in white chocolate chips and ¾ cup of the pastel M&M’s (saving some for topping).
Step 2: Bake the Cookie Bars
- Spread the batter evenly in the baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup M&M’s on top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
Step 3: Cool and Serve
- Let the bars cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Slice into squares and enjoy!
