Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the elbow macaroni until just al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Make the Cheese Sauce

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  3. Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses until melted and smooth.

Step 3: Combine Pasta and Sauce
