Ingredients

For the Cookie Dough Layer:
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar, packed
¼ cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1¼ cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated for safety)
1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

Step 1: Bake the Brownies
Preheat your oven according to your brownie recipe or box instructions.
Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
Prepare and bake the brownie batter as directed.
Allow the brownies to cool completely before adding the cookie dough layer.

Step 2: Make the Edible Cookie Dough
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the milk and vanilla extract, beating until smooth.
Gradually mix in the heat-treated flour until fully incorporated.
Fold in the mini chocolate chips.

Step 3: Assemble the Cookie Dough Brownies
Once the brownies are completely cool, spread the cookie dough evenly over the brownie layer using a spatula.
Smooth the top nicely.
