  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Shrimp Mixture

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor or blender, pulse the shrimp until finely minced.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the minced shrimp, mayonnaise, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil (if using), green onions, cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 2: Assemble the Toasts
4. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Lightly toast them in the oven for 3-4 minutes.
5. Spread a generous amount of the shrimp mixture onto each slice.

Step 3: Bake the Shrimp Toast
6. Place the baking sheet back into the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp mixture is bubbly and slightly golden.

Step 4: Garnish and Serve
7. Remove the shrimp toast from the oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
