Ingredients

  • 1 fresh pineapple (peeled, cored, and cut into rings or chunks)

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional for extra sweetness)

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil or neutral oil

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional: juice of ½ lime for serving


Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Pineapple
Peel and core the pineapple. Cut it into rings, spears, or bite-sized chunks—whatever you prefer for serving.
Place the pineapple in a mixing bowl.

Step 2: Season the Pineapple
In the bowl, drizzle the pineapple with melted coconut oil and maple syrup (if using).
Sprinkle with cinnamon and a small pinch of salt. Toss everything together until the pineapple is evenly coated.

Step 3: Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 3–5 minutes to ensure even cooking.

Step 4: Air Fry the Pineapple
Place the pineapple pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Don’t overcrowd—work in batches if needed.
Air fry for 8–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are golden and slightly caramelized.

Step 5: Finish & Serve
Remove the pineapple from the air fryer. If desired, squeeze fresh lime juice over the top for a bright, tangy finish.
Serve warm or let cool slightly before enjoying.

Notes

Use Fresh Pineapple – It offers the best flavor and texture compared to canned.
Cut Evenly – Uniform pieces ensure even cooking and caramelization.
Don’t Skip the Salt – Just a pinch enhances the sweetness without making it salty.
Keep an Eye – Pineapple can burn quickly at high heat, so check it a few minutes early.
